During the May 4th Superstorm, Roo Lan along with much of Lacey was walloped by heavy rains and tornado force winds. The microburst that accompanied the storm uprooted trees all over the campus, several of which crashed into the fences that border our community knocking them flat. You can clearly see the damage in the shots below showing fences collapsed under debris at both our Memory Care Community and our Skilled Nursing Facility.

It’s been a couple of months now since the storm, and we’re happy to report that all the damage caused by downed trees and falling debris has been repaired. The fences that were destroyed, have been replaced, and look better than ever. A big thank you to our Maintenance department who did a fantastic job on these big, and unexpected, projects.
