Senior Living
Assisted Living
Assisted living residents are those who do not need skilled nursing care, but may need assistance with some aspects of daily life. This can include personal care such as dressing and grooming, monitoring of health, safety, and overall well-being, coordination of outside health care providers, assistance with medication, companionship, and more.
Our assisted living residents at RooLan live in their own private room within our community so that they have the support and services they need, while continuing to be as independent and active as possible.
Alzheimer's/Memory Care
At RooLan, our unique approach to caring for residents with Alzheimer’s or memory loss includes helping each person to continue engaging in activities and with others to rediscover skills and interests, and to reach their highest potential at that moment.
Along with providing daily living assistance and coordinating any necessary medical care, we are dedicated to addressing our residents’ cognitive needs. Each staff member receives intensive training specifically in Alzheimer’s care.
Hospice Care
We also offer hospice care so that our residents can remain in the same place while both they and their family receive comfort and care during this difficult time.
The hospice concept of comfort and dignity is fully embraced by RooLan Healthcare and we are committed to assisting our residents to access this benefit if desired.
The resident selects a hospice provider, enters into an agreement with the selected hospice provider, and notifies RooLan of their choice. Staff from RooLan will then meet with the hospice provider to develop a coordinated plan of care for the resident. Hospice services would be layered on top of the basic services for daily care provided by RooLan. Hospice will bill Medicare and/or the insurance company for their services and the resident or family for any applicable deductibles or co-insurance.
